September 24th, 2010 by admin

One of the most valuable aspects of Internet technology is the rampant popularity of online message boards. They allow people with similar interests to come together and share advice and experiences in a virtual format. Geographic distances are of no concern, so it is often possible to find like-minded friends who live on the other side of the world. Fans of the Magic the Gathering collectible card game will feel right at home posting on our Magic the Gathering Forum. Not only is it free and easy to register, but it has a variety of specific topic categories, allowing users to browse very specific subject areas.

One of the great advantages of our Magic the Gathering Forum that that we offer incentives for people who join our community and are active contributors to forum topics. Users are rewarded based on how frequently they post. Posts will earn points, which can be redeemed for gift certificates. It is even possible to earn bonus points for longer posts. So, if you feel ready to have your say about a new rumor or give your thoughts about a new strategy, get ready to jump right in and start participating in the action! We hope that this incentive program will not only stimulate interesting conversations but also help you feel that your participation at our website is valued.

If you are new to participating in message boards, you’ll find that our website is a great place to start. After you have completed the quick registration process, there is a special category for new members. If you desire, you can introduce yourself there, or simply choose one of the many interesting topics and start posting immediately within the Magic the Gathering Forum.

For users who have interests beyond the Magic the Gathering game, there are several “off topic” forums that enable users to chat about various topics. Additionally, artistic minded people will appreciate our forums that allow for sharing of artwork and short stories. Our aim is that the Magic the Gathering Forum will be considered a one-stop website for all fans of this popular card game.

Fun Music Games

September 13th, 2010 by admin

These days we are eager to combine meaningful instruction with hearty entertainment, to make the best of both worlds and kill two birds with one stone (but only metaphorically, of course). You may feel tempted to argue that Fun Music Games is a very broad concept, too vague or to broad or too general to have anything to do specifically with the music instruction of K though 7 kids. Please do not jump to hasty conclusions of this kind until and unless you have explored the underlying thinking in depth.

True, everybody has a different idea of fun, but technically speaking, in the pedagogical, educational context, the idea of fun needs to be (1) justified — i.e. fun is fun and it’s all good but it should not be a utter waste of teaching time, and (2) secondly, fund should have specific instructional added value. We we are going to have fun, it had better be for a great reason and it should help us learn something truly useful. These two perceptions are combined in the brand-new philosophy of interactive music games, which ae increasingly coming to be used as a method of musical instruction.

FYI, no, this is not one of those new age wishy washy concepts that don’t really work when tested under “controlled conditions.” No Sir! These little games have been tested to the max bu musicians, teachers, educators and, last but not least, the kiddos themselves, and they all love them! In a word, these are music games for kids of the new generation.
